Safely Applying Aloe Vera Gel to Your Skin
As a general rule of thumb we always recommend starting low and slow when beginning any new protocol or product. This gives you an opportunity to gently introduce new chemistry to your body, and allows your body time to adjust. Therefore, if you are new to raw aloe vera for skin application start by applying a dime size amount to an area. Monitor the area for a few minutes, hours, or days if you have concerns or skin allergies. Being attentive to how your body responds, and how the area feels will determine if it is helping you reach your goals.
If you are using our raw aloe vera gel on open wounds or sores the same principles apply. Consult your health care provider prior to use if you feel it necessary, and immediately stop use if harmful side effects are experienced. We have never received reports of undesirable side effects from users of our aloe to date, however, “anything is possible”. Raw aloe vera is water soluble, thus if you experience any undesirable effects please rinse thoroughly with soap and water.
Honest Aloe inner leaf aloe vera gel absorbs quickly into the skin. We personally apply it liberally.
