Vertically Integrated

Common Practices of In-store Aloe

Vertically integrated is the process or strategy of a company controlling multiple stages of its production process and supply chain. Honest Aloe controls all stages of its production process and supply chain from start to finish.

We have yet to find an aloe company entirely vertically integrated like ours. In fact, farms overseas supply at least 98% of aloe vera products in the United States of America (USA). These aloe farmers pasteurize at 170 degrees and add chemical stabilizers NOT included on ingredient lists. Then they pour the heated aloe into 50-gallon drums lined with plastic. Afterward, it is shipped to distributors, including those in the USA. These purchasing companies further process, label, and sell the aloe. The Honest Aloe Difference

Honest Aloe is a husband-wife team performing all tasks in all stages of our small business. Our occasional assistants are our young boys; they are the best helpers in the world. Together we farm, oversee, harvest, process, package, store, ship or deliver, and everything in between. In addition, our Texas farm and warehouse are in the same area, making us truly local. Unlike large companies, our aloe does not cross state or country lines for production. Since we are all hands on deck in all stages, we firmly stand by our standards.

In summary, we; conveniently inspect and care for our aloes any time of the day, consistently process responsibly, store, ship, or hand deliver, and everything in between. This avenue of quality control allows us to stand by Honest Aloe’s premium quality claims.

We know our plants, because we do the work!

Cheers to YOUR health!
