Tips & Details

Once defrosted treat it like milk; keep it refrigerated as it is perishable.

Nothing is added, removed, or heated in our fresh raw aloe including preservatives. Refrigerating will naturally preserve longer.

If the taste is intolerable, add your preferred sweetener such as stevia or another beverage. We grow and produce our aloe primarily for healing benefits, not for taste.

Although it will not perish like milk, treating it like milk will naturally preserve it naturally. More details on our FAQ page.

Drink or re-freeze within 10 days.

You may re-freeze up to 2 times. Once frozen we recommend drinking within 1 year, or use it for hair, skin, or diy lotions within 2 years.

We now offer reusable glass containers to re-freeze in week ready or dose ready sizes. If you follow our instructions, you will get with your order the glass should not break πŸ™‚ Shop

Gently invert before opening.

The pulp will naturally separate from the gel similar to orange juice with pulp. If there is a clump of pulp simply put it in a small glass of water and use a fork to break it up.

Do not drink directly from the bottle.

This will naturally preserve your aloe longer. If you drink directly from the bottle the bacterial from your mouth or back wash will cause your aloe to spoil at a faster rate.

Your fresh raw aloe gel turning pink DOES NOT mean it is or is going bad!

Rather it reflects the truly fresh and raw high quality of your aloe πŸ™‚ You can read more about that here

Drink on an empty stomach for maximum healing benefits

to avoid absorption interference from other foods and drinks.

Drink with vitamins or healthy food for maximum absorption benefits.

Aloe vera increases fat- and water-soluble vitamin absorption according to the IASC. In fact, vitamin c and e absorption rates are increased by 200% with a natural time release effect for 48 hours when taken with aloe vera. You may click here to read the study.

After completing your chosen protocol evaluate your health and skin to determine your ongoing dose.

Taking before and after photos can be helpful. Customers range from taking 1 tbsp – 32 tbsp daily as health goals change. Questions or not sure what to do? Email us by replying directly to your order email or via Greetings@HonestAloe.com

It is not uncommon for frequent bowel movements initially, especially if you are fiber depleted.

These have been described as normal, soft, or loose. Our aloe is hydrating and includes all the pulp to gently push things out.

If our new customer protocol sounds extreme start with 2 tbsp twice a day and increase your dose to meet your personal needs.

The more you take at one time will give you the quickest results. However, there is no shame in pacing it out to fit your budget and needs πŸ™‚

From a Fresh Picked Leaf

Aloe Fresh From the Leaf

Our aloe plants are versatile and can be added to various personal care items.

As fresh leaves have aloin intact, it’s great for styling hair for a lasting hold.

Excellent for household first aid. Every home should have a plant! Break off a leaf and apply for sunburns, cuts, scrapes, but bites, and more.

  • If applying from a leaf; cut an appropriate size section from your leaf. Then, trim the spine pieces off (as seen in the picture above). Then you can squeeze the aloe out or slice the aloe in the middle of the gel; providing two hamburger-style slices of exposed gel.
  • If applying from bottled gel; use a q-tip or cotton ball from bottle and avoid constant re-dipping to prevent contamination.
