…It is YOUR right and our privilege!
Informed consent for our inner leaf aloe vera gel drinks
Informed consent originates in the medical profession. In fact, it is a universal human right under the Nuremberg Code. It means you are given the risks, benefits, and alternatives before an intervention. Most of all, you have the power to choose even if your provider does not agree. Unfortunately, this God given right has been ignored. The doctor-to-patient relationships results in a dictatorship. It is now common practice for doctors to bully or expel patients from their practices based on the patient’s choices. The relationships’ focus should be on the patient with respect to their autonomy. Sadly, I often witnessed a lack of informed consent as a registered nurse.
Every family is unique, and in different stages of health. Our aloe vera gel may not be best for your needs at this time. We do not aim to coerce you to buy our aloe vera gel. Therefore, we do not use marketing tactics to sway you. Instead, we give you information and wish you the best in your journey. Honest Aloe cares for your well-being, right to information, and freedom of choice. We encourage you to carry the principle of informed consent into all aspects of your well-being.
Risks
The most common risk is increased bowel movements when starting. Some customers report frequency of regular stool and others frequency with soft stools. This side effect is just as much a benefit as the aloe replenishes fiber in your gut while also healing and cleaning it up. We find this happens for folks who are fiber depleted.
Inner leaf aloe vera gel aids in blood sugar stabilization. It may decrease blood sugar by 55% in type two and pre-diabetics. This decrease may be due to aloe vera’s beta-cell protective effects, repressive effects of glucose absorption speed, and modulation of liver enzymes. You may read more about that here. More studies are found on Pubmed. Therefore, if you are taking insulin, closely monitor your blood sugar and notify your doctor.
Aloe’s inner leaf gel is water soluble and filtered through the kidneys. If you have confirmed or suspected kidney dysfunction, contact your doctor. Our inner leaf gel has no other risks we are aware of.
Before children, pregnant, and nursing women drink, use information from reliable sources. Children drink our inner leaf aloe vera gel to aid various gut conditions. Our kids drink it for general wellness. Pregnant and nursing women drink our aloe. For example, when it is unsafe to take their prescriptions. I also drank it while pregnant without adverse effects. To date, we have no reports of adverse effects. Again, everyone is in a different state of health. We encourage you to ask questions and not trust blindly.
People report drinking 1 tbsp a day to 32 tbsp a day. Others keep in the freezer for an acute problem. Share your experience with us. We appreciate any positive or negative feedback.
FDA Compliance
Since 1999, juice manufacturers have been required by the FDA to place warning statements on raw juice labels. Raw juices do not go through pasteurization processes. This is when liquids are heated to kill good and bad bacteria. Pasteurized products may still contain harmful bacteria, just as unpasteurized products! In fact, they often do. The FDA does not require this statement when the juices are freshly squeezed and sold by the glass. You may read about the FDA requirements here. Our inner leaf aloe vera drinks are raw and not pasteurized.
Benefits
As a supplement, we can not make certain claims according to FDA. Honestly, there is not one product that works for everyone with same way natural or synthetic. However, there are strong correlations between research and customer reports on healing. Therefore, we say “may” for this compliance. Yet we remain confident in the healing properties of aloe vera from experience and research.
The Hippocrates Health Institute performed a study with a group of participants drinking 2 tbs of aloe vera with supplements and the other group just the supplements. Vitamin c and e absorption rates increased by 200% with a natural time release effect for 48 hours when taken with aloe vera.
Inner leaf aloe vera gel contains acemannan, which; promotes gut health, stimulates the immune system, and destroys viruses. It has been used in cancer-fighting drugs. It is currently being studied as a natural treatment and preventative supplement for cancer. You may click here to read more about the benefits.
Aloe gel may aid gut-related complications such as; Crohn’s disease, acid reflux (GERD), irritable bowel disease (IBD), constipation (don’t be surprised if you initially have more bowel movements), stomach and intestinal ulcers, leaky gut syndrome, etc. The expedited healing you see when applying aloe vera to your skin is likely how it heals the same epithelial tissues in your gut. The condition of your gut directly effects other organ systems, thus repairing your gut may help other organ systems.
Aloe vera’s inner leaf gel may aid skin-related complications such as; acne, bug bites, dermatitis, eczema, sunburns, psoriasis, vaginal yeast, and jock rash. It may aid oral-related complications such as bleeding gums and gingivitis. These have all been common effective uses for thousands of years even in western medicine.
Inner leaf filet gel may aid endocrine-related complications such as type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes. It may aid immune-related complications such as shingles.
Our customers report other benefits, and even healthier pets. Including colic in horses! Everyone’s health status is different. Hence your body may gain benefits your neighbor does not. Cheers to your health!
Alternatives
For the above conditions, there are many over-the-counter and prescription drugs. Such drugs can and do alleviate symptoms. However, informed consent for these reveals a long list of side effects. Some side effects are worse than the treating symptoms. Equally important, these drugs often do not correct or heal your underlying cause. In these cases, you often get worse, and require more drugs to maintain the same quality of life.
We are not discouraging you from taking the drugs recommended by your doctor. Rather, we are encouraging you to demand informed consent, and find a doctor that will give it. Informed consent assures you have all the facts. From there you can decide if the benefits are worth your risks. In doing so you are mentally and emotionally prepared for arising complications. You can also better measure the effectiveness of treatments. In conclusion, you and your doctor make a team, and you both are better for it.
Aloe vera companies and products
Aloe vera products are on store shelves and available at the click of a button online. No doubt some of them are beneficial. There are two types of aloe drinks; aloe vera gel and juice. You can click this article for details.
Most aloe companies use harmful processing techniques. Then they add; chemicals, preservatives, stabilizers, deodorizers, flavor, and dilute with city water. You can watch the video in this article for more details. Among “100% pure aloe” products, preservatives are still on their list of ingredients. Read about deceitful marketing here.
IASC certified products are a step in the right direction for heavily processed aloe with a long shelf-life. However, these aloe vera are not raw. Our farming, harvesting, and processing standards are much higher than IASC. We know of no company using our standards producing inner leaf aloe gel. We are aware of one company freezing to preservative.
You have the alternative to many herbs, plants, and foods that are safe to consume. By doing nothing to promote your health you are still making a decision, and that is perfectly acceptable. Good luck to you on your journey.
Cheers to YOUR health!
